In the days before Christmas we are surrounded by beauty: it is the time of year to pick meaningful and thoughtful presents for our loved ones, to enjoy long walks in the fresh air, taste the flavors and smell the aromas of winter. Food enthusiasts find it difficult to resist all the delicious treats, but at the same time enjoy the holiday classics and new stars of the table. Zagreb Winter FairYtale gathers in one place all the holiday food you can want – created and prepared by some of Croatia’s finest chefs and their experienced crews. Chef Zoran Jajac and his crew from Krešimir Mudronja’s restaurant Fešta will serve their philosophy to guests at the Tuesday gala (December 4). The following day (Wednesday, December 5), visitors will get a chance to taste the masterpieces created by Dino Galvagno, the best chef in Croatia and probably the region. On Thursday (December 6), guest stars of the fair will be the locally famous crew of the Matsunoki restaurant from Mali Lošinj, led by chef Saša Pribičević. The grand finale of the gastro-festival will be on Friday (December 7), when Slovenian superstar chef Ana Roš will show off her already legendary skills. Throughout the four-day festival, visitors will be treated to everyday Dalmatian cuisine honed to perfection by chef Ivana Gamulin of Villa Spiza. The gala dinners will serve food with a humanitarian cause and the number of seats will be limited, so we suggest food enthusiasts make their reservations well ahead.
